Can I add a park hopper to one day?

Hi Melanie! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

If you have a 1-Day ticket you'd like to upgrade to Park Hopper, this should be possible subject to availability. I suggest calling the Tickets phone line, so a helpful Cast Member can assist you in making this adjustment. You'll have to pay the difference. Credit, debit, and Disney Gift Cards are all conveniently accepted methods of payment. Prices and terms are subject to change.

On our one or two-day visits, we like the flexibility of exploring both parks as much as we want, so I think this is a great option to add. You can visit your first park, enjoy the Attractions, and hop over to the next park for lunch and more fun. Then you can even hop back to the first park. We do that all the time!

If you prefer, you can also request this upgrade in person on the day of your visit. If Park Hoppers are still available, a friendly Cast Member can help you hop to the next park if you stop by the main ticket booths in the Esplanade. Have your method of payment handy. This will take a little bit of time out of your park day, so it would be my preference to call ahead.

If you have a Multi-Day ticket, you can't pick just one day to add Park Hopper, however. You can only upgrade for the entire Multi-Day ticket. The price is the same whether you're able to Park Hop for one remaining day or every day of your visit. So, if you want to Park Hop, add it at the beginning of your visit with a Multi-Day ticket or before you arrive, so you can take advantage of this option for the whole trip. The price is the same regardless so you might as well!

    I hope this helps.
