How much is it to add a park hopper to your 2 day pass? Can the hotels do this

Hi, Karen. Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited that you brought another question to us.

The Park Hopper Option is a great way to plus up your vacation, especially if your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is short. Last April, I visited the resort for 2 days with the Park Hopper Option and while it was a whirlwind, I wouldn't trade that experience for the world! We used the Disney Genie Service to help plan a personalized itinerary, purchased Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes for access to shorter waits at many attractions, and enrolled in the Virtual Queues being offered. We got a ton done!

The price for the Park Hopper Option changes depending on the date of the ticket. My suggestion for adding the Park Hopper Option would be to do it before you leave for your trip through your My Disney Experience account. On a computer, select the "My Plans" option from the menu. Scroll down and you should see "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." Once you select this option, you should see your tickets. Select the option to "Change Ticket." Then, just follow the prompts to add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket.

If you would rather add this option to your ticket when you get to the resort, you would need to do so at either a Guest Relations location or a ticket window outside of one of the theme parks. You can also do this at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. The front desks of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels will not be able to help you with this.

No matter when you add this option to your ticket, the price will always be the same so you'll want to do this either before your vacation or on your first park day. The reason I say this is because the Park Hopper Option is tied to the length of your ticket, not a particular day. So if you decide to add this option on during your second day in the parks, you will still be paying the same price as you would have if you added it before your vacation or on your first day in the parks. I like to maximize the value of my tickets so I always let Guests know of this policy whenever I can.

Karen, I hope you have a wonderful time at the resort. Be sure to read up on all of the exciting new additions coming soon to the resort and prepare for a thrilling ride on TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise at Magic Kingdom Park by checking out the planDisney Official Guide to Navigating the Grid at TRON Lightcycle / Run.
