Can I add a park hopper to day 3 of a 4 day ticket at WDW or do I have to get for all 4 days?

Hi, John. It's so nice that you found your way back to us here at planDisney!

I find the Park Hopper Option to be really handy. I can start in one park in the morning and make my way to another in the afternoon or evening. And while I don't typically go to more than two parks in a day, with this option, you technically can go to all four! For me, I like to be in a park in the morning, take a little rest in the afternoon at my Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, and then make my way to a different park for the late afternoon/early evening. It's just nice to have options, no matter what your plan is!

At this time, if you want the Park Hopper Option, you must add it to all the days of your theme park ticket, not just one. In fact, even if you decide in the middle of your vacation to add this option to your ticket, you will still have to pay for the entire length of your ticket. So, if you want it, make sure you either add it before you get to the Walt Disney World Resort or before the end of your first day in the parks. This way, you can get the most use out of it and the most value. Once again, it's nice to have options, and even if you don't think you're going to use it for more than one day, that could change!

Historically, my two favorite parks to hop between have been Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT because you can use the Walt Disney World Monorail to travel between them. And while I still think that's a great option, ever since the opening of the Disney Skyliner, my new favorite to hop between has been EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love entering or exiting EPCOT through the International Gateway entrance between France and the United Kingdom, which is where the Disney Skyliner station between these two parks is located. It's just so convenient, and I can be among the glitz and glamor of old Hollywood one minute and then smack dab in the middle of World Showcase the next...and vice versa! Where else in the world can that happen? And the Park Hopper Option makes it possible!

John, enjoy hopping around the resort. If you have any other questions, I'm here for you!
