Can I add park hopper to day 1 of my 2 day park tickets?

Hi there, Poppy, and a great big welcome to planDisney! Wow, your adventure from England all the way to the Disneyland Resort in sunny California is practically here—just 3 days away! We're thrilled to help with these exciting last-minute plans.

That's a great question about adding the Park Hopper option to your ticket! Currently, when you decide to upgrade to a Park Hopper, it applies to the entire length of the ticket. So, for your 2-day ticket, the Park Hopper would be added to both days, rather than just a single day.

If you decide that this is the route you’d like to go, you have a few options to make this happen. First, you can open the Disneyland mobile app and tap the menu button (three-lined icon) at the bottom right, then select “My Tickets & Passes”. Your linked tickets should appear here, and if you see an option to modify or change your tickets, you may be able to upgrade in the app. Otherwise, you can either give a friendly Cast Member at the tickets hotline a call, or stop by a ticket booth during your visit. I should note that you may incur additional phone charges if calling the resort from outside of the US.

But Poppy, either way you decide to go, two days at the Disneyland Resort is a fantastic amount of time, and it gives you a splendid opportunity to really immerse yourself in each park. You could dedicate one whole enchanting day to exploring the original magic of Disneyland Park—thinking of all the happy thoughts as you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A.! Then, on your second day, you can dive into all the epic adventures waiting for you at Disney California Adventure Park. It’s a perfect way to savor all the unique flavors each park has to offer!

Now, here’s a very important tip: please remember to make your theme park reservations for each day of your visit. You’ll need these to enter the parks.

To make your park days as smooth as a magic carpet ride, I also highly recommend downloading the official Disneyland mobile app before you arrive. With the app, you can easily check current attraction wait times to help plan your next adventure, use the convenient mobile food and beverage ordering feature at many dining locations, and view interactive park maps to find your way to your favorite characters or the nearest churro cart. Plus, you can keep an eye on entertainment schedules so you don’t miss a moment of the magic! It really is a wonderfully helpful tool.

And speaking of magic, with two parks to explore, you're in for a treat! In Disneyland Park, I just love Peter Pan's Flight. You can soar in a pirate ship right over nighttime London—perhaps you'll even spot some familiar landmarks like Big Ben before you're off to Never Land! Over in Disney California Adventure Park, if you fancy a bit of high-octane fun, zooming through Ornament Valley on Radiator Springs Racers is a quite a lively experience!

Those are just a couple of the dazzling highlights waiting for you, Poppy, and I'm sure you'll discover countless other favorites during your adventure! I hope this information helps you put the finishing touches on your plans for a most memorable and magical visit. Wishing you a spectacular time!
