Is there a way to add a park hopper to an already existing ticket?

Hi Yvette! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney.

I have good news for you: Yes, you can absolutely upgrade your existing admission ticket to a Park Hopper ticket. I think this is a great option, as it gives you increased flexibility on the day of your visit. Currently, you can hop over to the other park at 11 AM. We like to purchase Park Hoppers for our trips to Disneyland Resort, especially if it is a quick trip. We'll start our day in one park, stay through lunch, Mobile Ordering our food at a Quick Service location, hop over to the next park, and hop back to our starting park for evening entertainment. You can do that!

To complete this upgrade, I suggest contacting a helpful Cast Member on the Tickets phone line, who can assist you with making this change. They're always happy to help! You will of course have to pay the difference, but it should be an easy process. Just be sure that you have theme park reservations to go along with your new Park Hopper, as theme park reservations are still required for park entry.

Another option you can add after purchase is the Disney Genie+ Service. This option allows you to spend less time in queues. You'll be able to book return times for Lightning Lane Entrances for select attractions, using the Disneyland mobile app. After you've scanned into the park for the day, you can purchase the service on the app and begin booking return times. It's a really easy last-minute upgrade and very much worth it for my family.

I hope this helps! Have a magical day.
