Welcome to planDisney, Lilia!
It sounds like you already have a set of
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations and would like to add another ticket for one additional Mouseketeer to join your party. Sounds wonderful! I hope we can find a way to have that work out for you. Let’s go over some available options.
First of all, it is usually best to keep your existing theme park reservation in place. While it is not possible to add tickets to an existing reservation, it IS possible to have multiple park reservations linked to a single account. The only requirement is that separate reservations be associated with unique tickets or passes if they happen to be for the same date. The next thing to consider is
theme park reservation availability. If reservations are available for the same date and ticket type you already have, and at the park you wish to visit, then you may proceed with purchasing another ticket and/or booking that additional park reservation.
If you don’t happen to see the same reservation type open and park, you may want to keep an eye on that
availability calendar. Other Guests often need to change their plans. So when they cancel their park reservations, they may become available to you. It is also OK if you happen to mix ticket types. For example, if new reservations are available for
Park Hopper tickets but not for one-park-per-day tickets, it is OK for members of your party to have different ticket types. The important thing is to ensure that all of the reservations for the same date have the same starting park. Otherwise, those with Park Hopper tickets may need to begin in the other park and then can only join the rest of the party after
Park Hopper hours begin at 1:00 PM.
Tony’s Tip: There is one more option that is worth remembering. Guests of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels may book from
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. So if you already happen to be staying at an on-site hotel or have the option to
add a little extra magic to your visit, the additional park reservation availability may help out as well.
I hope this gives you some ideas about how to have everyone join you for a great experience at The Happiest Place on Earth, Lilia. If you have any more questions, please stop by planDisney again.
See ya real soon!
