Hello Jose, welcome to planDisney. Adding additional days to my trip is usually something I want to do for every visit. Most times I have to head back to reality. Let's help you figure out how to get that extra day of magic.
Reservations come in many shapes and sizes at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Only a couple can have additional days added on. The length of your stay at one of the
Disney Resort Collection Hotels is one that you can add an additional day. In most cases, you will be able to stay in the same room. But that always depends on the availability of the resort you have chosen as a "home away from home" for your stay. Because your stay is right around the corner I would actually suggest
calling the existing reservations line to make sure you can add a day to your current room or get an extra day at a nearby resort. Adding an additional day to your theme park tickets might be a little bit easier. You always want to first check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar before you make an additional purchase. If the day is available you can just go to your
My Disney Experience App. From there go to the "Tickets & Passes" section. This is where you can upgrade tickets as well as assign them if you already haven't.
Your trip is right around the corner and you should start o get excited. This summer is going to be about thrills all over the Walt Disney World Resort. I was lucky enough to enjoy some thrills during my last two visits which are must-do when you visit. Both attractions are new and you will need to use the
Virtual Queue which is available on the My Disney Experience App. Make sure you are on the app before 7 a.m. as that is when the queue opens up for a boarding pass. If you are not successful you can try again at 1 p.m. One of those is at my favorite park, inside
Magic Kingdom Park.
TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise is a brand-new coaster that allows users to enter the grid and race against Team Orange. It takes off really fast so don't blink or you will miss the launch. The other one is
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at
Disney's Hollywood Studios which is a 360-degree coaster that is hands-down the best coaster I have ever been on. Join Rocket, Drax, and the other Guardians on the journey into the unknown.
I hope this is a great trip for you and that my information helps you get that extra day added with ease. if you have any other planning needs please reach out to
ask me a question and I will be ready to help.
Have a magical stay,
Jeremy A.
