Welcome to planDisney, Miranda! It looks like you'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth tomorrow, so let's hop to it and get your plans finalized so you'll be ready to explore the theme parks and enjoy all the amenities and benefits of staying as a guest at a Disney Resort hotel!
Miranda, to book a
vacation package that bundles your Disney Resort room reservation and theme park tickets, you must include at least a two-day theme park ticket. If you only need a one-day theme park ticket, you can book your resort as a room-only reservation and
purchase your one-day park hopper ticket separately. Once both have been purchased, they will still be linked to your
My Disney Experience account, which will allow you to create a
Disney MagicMobile pass to unlock your resort door, charge purchases back to your Disney Resort room, tap into the theme park and Lightning Lane entrances, and connect to your PhotoPass photos throughout your visit! You can also use a
MagicBand+ or request a Key to the World Card from your resort's front desk if you prefer!
With purchasing your vacation options separately, you will also still be eligible to take advantage of all the
exciting perks and benefits of being a Disney Resort hotel guest, like Early Theme Park Entry! And don't forget that in 2025, Disney Resort hotel guests will also be given
complimentary water park admission on their check-in day! Talk about diving right into the fun!
Miranda, I hope this helps! I'm a big fan of park hopping during my visits to the Walt Disney World Resort, and I often find myself starting at Animal Kingdom Theme Park since it opens earliest in the mornings. If you're up for it, try to visit all four theme parks on the same day to get a little taste of each one! Finishing a busy day watching
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom will forever be my perfect ending to a Disney day!
Come back to
planDisney anytime if we can help again, Miranda, and here's to making the most magical memories!
See you real soon,
Alison
