Hi there, Kris. Thanks for reaching out to us at planDisney with your question!
I jump at the chance to answer any and all questions about
dining at the
Walt Disney World Resort. And the
dining plans make it so convenient to redeem and keep track of meals and snacks. Plus, it makes your vacation feel more all-inclusive. Make sure you take a look at the included restaurants so you can start to plan your meals. As of writing this answer, delicious options like
Jaleo by José Andrés in
Disney Springs,
1900 Park Fare at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa,
Be Our Guest Restaurant in
Magic Kingdom Park, and so many more are included in the Disney Dining Plan (subject to change). And that's not even mentioning the
quick-service restaurants or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan!
If you'd like to add a dining plan to your vacation package (
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation and
theme park tickets booked together), you can usually select "My Plans" from the
My Disney Experience dropdown menu, find your reservation, and click the "Change Reservation" option. There should be an option on this page to add a dining plan. Select your dining plan and follow the prompts to go through the checkout process. If for some reason the option to add a dining plan isn't there, you can always
call a friendly Cast Member at the resort and they'd be happy to help you out!
Kris, I hope that you have a wonderful vacation full of meals that you're drooling over long after you've finished licking the plate! If you have any other questions,
feel free to reach out!
Think happy thoughts,
Matt
