    We had to add 1 night to our Disney Resort stay. The same room category wasn't available, so now we have 2 reservations. Will we receive a separate set of Magic Bands for each reservation? Can the reservations be combined onto one set of bands?

    Hello Christopher, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

    I am so excited to hear that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon as a guest at a Disney Resort Hotel. One of my favorite perks of staying on Disney property is the complimentary MagicBands! I have good news for you and even better news when it comes to the additional set of MagicBands. First, the good news, every member of your family can have more than one active MagicBand on their My Disney Experience account. I have done split resort stays in the past, and I can assure you that both sets will work during your entire trip if you want them. This would allow everyone in your family to choose a MagicBand in their favorite color and the second MagicBand could be the same matching color for everyone in the family. This would be great if you are planning to wear matching shirts for one day of your trip.

    Okay, are you ready for the better news? If you really do not want the extra set of MagicBands, you can sign in to your My Disney Experience account, and click on the “MagicBands and Cards” tab. You will see where you have another MagicBand order to complete. If you do not want them, you can simply decline the entire additional set. The choice is yours and you have until about a month before the arrival date of the second reservation to finalize your order. Either way, I am sure you will have a magical time.
