Add name under friends and family

    Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney. For me, planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost as fun as the actual visit.  My Disney Experience makes it easy to connect everyone in your vacation party in order to simplify your planning.

It looks like you are trying to add a guest to your Family & Friends list.  This is a great way to connect guests traveling together in order to streamline planning and making reservations.  You can add or "invite" people to plan and share information in a few easy steps, which I would be happy to walk you through.  First, make sure you have signed into your My Disney Experience account.  From there, simply go to your Family & Friends list and choose "Add A New Guest".  Here, you have three options.  Your first option is to use a Disney Resort reservation to connect everyone on the reservation.  For this you will need the confirmation number as well as the name of the guest who made the reservation.  The second option is to choose people from a list that your friends are connected to in My Disney Experience.  You will see a list of people and you can choose from that list who you would like to send an invitation to.   The last option would be to simply add a new name.  This option would be used for guests who do not have their own My Disney Experience account and for children as well.  Once you have chosen how you would like to add your friends or family, simply fill in the required information and you are all set!  Any family or friends that you have invited will have to accept the invitation in their My Disney Experience.  Once the invitation has been accepted, you will be connected and will be able to make Advanced Dining Reservations as well as Theme Park Reservations for anyone in your Friends & Family List.

If you are planning to make Advanced Dining Reservations for your party, please remember that reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance.  I would recommend making your Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as possible since many dining locations are extremely popular and reservations can be difficult to secure.

I hope that helps answer your question, Jennifer.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.

    ~Stephanie
