Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Natasha!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your service. As a military spouse myself, my family loves visiting Walt Disney World Resort using the
military offers. Military tickets must be activated with a valid military ID before entering the theme parks. These tickets also
require a theme park reservation, so linking them to your
My Disney Experience account is important.
What you’ll want to do is locate your ticket confirmation number at the top of your theme park ticket. Depending on where you purchased your tickets, you may also find this confirmation number in your email inbox, sent from your MWR/ITT office. Once you have located that number, sign in and open your My Disney Experience account. I like to use the
My Disney Experience mobile app, so I will walk you through those steps.
After opening the app, click on the hamburger menu tab, represented by three horizontal lines located in the bottom right-hand corner. Then click on the box that says “My Tickets & Passes”. At the top of that page, you will see a blue circle with a plus sign. Click on that to open the drop-down menu, where you will see and click on “Link Tickets & Passes”. You have the option to use the camera feature to scan your ticket’s barcode, or you can type in those numbers manually. Once you have done that, your theme park tickets will be
linked and ready to make theme park reservations with.
Once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you’ll want to visit any Guest Relations window at any theme park entrance or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to activate your tickets. Don’t forget your valid military ID! After that, you’ll be ready to discover the magic of Walt Disney World.
Natasha, I hope this helps answer your questions. Have the best visit and if there’s anything else we can help with, please let us know.
Thank you for family’s service,
Shantel
