Hi Lara,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is almost here, how exciting!
I love using
Memory Maker at
Disney PhotoPass locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! You simply scan your
MagicBand, Ticket, or phone and the images will be sent directly to your My Disney Experience mobile app (separate purchase necessary).
Lara, if you want to access the “Advance Purchase” version, you can do so
here. Remember that this service includes photos and videos within 30 days of activation and the purchase must be made 3 or more days in advance of that activation (using the service). So, this would be the perfect time for you to purchase!
On this page, you’ll also find the other options which include Memory Maker (During and Post-Vacation) and Memory Maker One Day.
I suggest signing into your
My Disney Experience account, then selecting the Memory Maker (Advance Purchase). You’ll want to select the “Next” button and follow the steps to finalize your purchase. Then once you’re at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can go up to a PhotoPass Cast Member, scan your MagicBand or ticket and start taking photos!
Final tip: Did you know that you can see all the Disney PhotoPass locations across the Parks within the
My Disney Experience mobile app? To do this, within the app select the map icon (second icon from the left). Next, select the down arrow at the top (it might say “Wait Times”) and select “PhotoPass” from the dropdown menu. Once selected, you’ll see the PhotoPass icons pop up and you can see all the spots that have a photographer. I love this feature because you can use it in any Park and see what might be offered around you!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your upcoming trip. If you have any other last minute vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
