Lightning Lane passes are such a great way to take advantage of riding your favorite attractions with little to no waiting and helps you avoid the standby queues. Now that my son is old enough to ride the big kid attractions like Space Mountain and my personal favorite, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Lightning Lane has become a must-have for our park visits. Let’s take a look at what you’ll need to be speeding through those queues like Lightning McQueen himself!
If you have your tickets already, you can certainly add Lightning Lane passes to them before you head into the parks. I actually did this for my family the other night as we planned for our upcoming visit in just a few weeks.
On the
Disneyland app, tap the (≡) button on the bottom right of the screen and then tap “Lightning Lane Passes.” From there, you’ll want to select Purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass or
any variation of the pass you prefer. You’ll simply continue by entering your payment and personal information and you should be good to go!
