How to add kids to friend and family tickets

    Hiya, Lori! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m happy to help you add Guests to your Family & Friends List, Lori.

There are two ways to add Guests to your Family & Friends List. You can do so from a device of your choosing that has the My Disney Experience app downloaded. Once you are logged in to your account and are on the welcome page of the app, follow these steps:

    1. From the icons at the bottom of your screen, select the icon with the three horizontal lines, which is the rightmost icon.
    2. Scroll down to the “Account” heading and tap on the “Profile” box.
    3. Select the “Family & Friends List” icon at the top right corner of your screen.
    4. Select the “Add a Guest” box.
    5. From here, you will be prompted to either create a Guest or send an existing Guest an invite to be added to your Family & Friends List.
    6. From there, you can assign tickets to eligible Guests in your Family & Friends List, and manage their plans as well.

It’s that easy! If you prefer to do this from a web browser, you can certainly do that as well. To add Guests from a web browser, follow these steps:

    1. Visit the Walt Disney World Resort website.
    2. From the welcome page, select the top rightmost dropdown menu labeled “My Disney Experience.” You may be prompted to log in if you haven’t done so already.
    3. Navigate to “My Family & Friends.”
    4. From here, you will be prompted to either create a Guest or send an existing Guest an invite to be added to your Family & Friends List.
    5. You will then be able to assign tickets, and manage plans for the Guests in your Family & Friends List.

Note that for children under the age of 13, you will manage all of their plans. For teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17, you can add their email, and within their account, they will be able to make plans and view booked activities. Whether you choose to do this on a device of your choosing using the My Disney Experience app, or on a web browser, the end result is the same!

I hope this answers your question, Lori! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip, don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney!

    Have a great trip!
