How can I add my husbands and child tickets to their app when it is already allocated to my Disney app? I have managed to send them their digital park ticket but would like to add all booking options to their apps also. Thank you

    Hi James, welcome to planDisney!

You've found the right place to bring all of your questions about planning a Disney vacation. PlanDisney's Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Planning Checklist will keep you on track these next few months. The planDisney podcast videos are also a great way to dig a little deeper into relevant topics like Technology and Tips for First Timers.

You show a good understanding of the importance of a My Disney Experience account, James. This is the virtual space that houses all of your vacation entitlements (tickets, theme park reservations, dining reservations, resort reservations, Lightning Lane reservations, Disney PhotoPass images, etc). It sounds like you have successfully linked valid admission for you, your husband, and your child to your My Disney Experience account. The fact that you could download and share their Disney MagicMobile passes tells me you are currently managing their My Disney Experience account profiles. It also sounds like your husband and child have their own My Disney Experience accounts. In my experience, duplicate My Disney Experience profiles/accounts can be a source of confusion when redeeming vacation entitlements during your visit. Follow these steps to merge the My Disney Experience account profile housed in your account with your husband and child's separate My Disney Experience accounts:

    1. Click "Update" next to your husband's name on your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience. For reference, the words "Plans managed by me" should also appear next to his name.
    2. Click "Share Planning with [husband's name.]"
    3. Enter the email address connected to your husband's My Disney Experience account and click, "Continue."
    4. Once your husband accepts the email invitation to connect, all of the plans you've made for him (including his ticket linked to his account profile managed by you) will automagically transfer to his account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can view and make plans for each other.
    5. Repeat steps 1-4 for your child.

The same goal can also be completed in the My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, your Family & Friends List is accessed by clicking the three small lines that appear at the bottom right of the home page --> scrolling down to "My Profile" --> clicking the "Family & Friends List" tab. Click your husband's name --> Send Email to complete the transfer request.

I hope these steps help you prepare for the magic that lies ahead. If I misunderstood your situation or you have any follow-up questions, I'm all Minnie ears!
