Can I add guests to my resort reservation who don't all need park tickets for the same number of days?

    Welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth!

A late summer visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is sure to be a fabulous time for your entire travel party. The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong across all of Walt Disney World Resort. Be prepared to be dazzled with EARidesecent beauty throughout all four theme parks. There are stunning Beacons of Magic, celebratory sips and bites, and of course, new nighttime spectaculars that will leave a lasting impression. I am sure that everyone in your travel party is excited to finalize all the last-minute details, so let's go over adding Guests to your hotel reservations so that you can get back to planning the best trip ever!

The answer to your questions is yes, but there are some important notes to take for this type of reservation. If you currently have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation that is part of a Disney vacation package, all Guests added to the reservation will need to have the same type of theme park tickets, for the same amount of days. But Hakuna Matata, friend! There is an option for parties that may want to stay together in the same room or suite, but have varying plans throughout their time in the magic. Should your travel party want to share accommodations but do not all need the same amount or type of tickets, you can do a room-only reservation, rather than a package. When you reserve your room on the Walt Disney World website, you would select No Ticket when checking out. After securing your room reservations, each Guest in your group can purchase the tickets that best suit their needs online, and link them to their individual My Disney Experience account. If you have already booked a vacation package, you may be able to modify it online through My Disney Experience or by speaking to a friendly Cast member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Be sure to do this 30 days prior to arrival to avoid possible vacation package change fees.

One important step that all Guests entering the theme parks must take is securing a Disney Park Pass reservation. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Pro tip: Check your dates on the availability calendar before purchasing your tickets. This will help you see which of your favorite parks still have openings for your visit. Each Guest can reserve their spot as soon as tickets are purchased, so don't delay. Make your Park Pass reservations today!

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
