    Add guest to a reservation

    Hi Brian! Welcome to planDisney! With your arrival date to the Most Magical Place on Earth being today, let's get right to your question!

    When adding a Guest to a reservation at the Walt Disney World Resort, it will depend on what type of reservation you are referring to. 

    • For dining, you can modify your reservation by logging on to your My Disney Experience App and selecting "Future Plans". Tap on the reservation you want to change and select "Modify". If there is availability for an additional Guest, you can make the changes right there. If not, during the check-in process, you may be able to add one additional Guest at that time. You can usually do so directly on the app during the mobile check-in. 
    • For theme park reservations, the additional Guest will need to have a valid park ticket for a reservation to be made. Once a ticket is purchased, you can make a park reservation by using your My Disney Experience account. You'll follow the same process that you did to make your own. Since this is short notice, there may be some parks that do not have any availability. You'll need to be flexible with the park choice.
    • For resort reservations, there will be a few things to consider. If it is a room-only reservation, you may be able to add a Guest for an additional fee. First, you'll need to check how many Guests your room type allows. As long as you don't exceed the maximum number, then you should be able to add this Guest by speaking with a Cast Member at the front desk of your resort. If your resort room is part of a vacation package that includes park tickets, the new Guest will need to be added for the entire length of stay and also purchase the exact ticket package that everyone else has in the room.
