Hello, Melanie! Welcome to planDisney where my pals and I are here and happy to help.
It's not uncommon for guests to want to add more friends or family to their Disney Cruise Line reservation. Once your loved ones hear about all of the fun that's included on a Disney Cruise, why wouldn't they jump on the chance to join you?
There is only one way to add a guest to your reservation when you have made the booking yourself, and that is by
contacting the Disney Cruise Line directly. If you have a travel agent that has made the booking on your behalf, be sure to contact them for help. Wait times for getting in touch with a Guest Services agent have been elevated recently, so I suggest that you call first thing in the morning and be prepared to wait if necessary.
Your stateroom size, location, and any restrictions that may be applied to your reservation will affect your ability to add a guest to your stateroom. So it's best to call Disney Cruise Line as soon as possible to see if it's an option for your booking. I certainly hope it's an option for you. More people in your sailing crew means more laughter and more memories to be made!
Speaking of making memories, did you know that you can book an
unlimited digital photo package at a discount when booked online and at least three days in advance of your sailing? I love to share this tip with guests, especially those that plan to take lots of photos with Disney Characters. If you'll be visiting Castaway Cay, be sure to look for photographers on the island as well!
I wish you a magical voyage, Melanie! Please cruise our way again if you have any further questions. We'd love to answer you again.
Happy sailing,
Adrianna
