How to add guest to party

Hey there, hi there, Jon! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate each and every Guest who stops by to ask us a question!

I am thrilled to see that you will be visiting Disneyland Resort next month. If you are hoping to add a Guest to your party, well, I guess it depends on what you are trying to add them to. If you are just hoping to add someone to your MyDisney account in the Disneyland app to plan your day together, you will need to link their ticket or Magic Key annual pass to your account. You can do this on the Disneyland website by hovering over "My Disneyland" and clicking on "Link Ticket and Passes." In the Disneyland app, tap on the three horizontal lines, tap on "Tickets and Passes," and there you can link more by tapping the "+" at the top right. Once tickets are linked to your account, you can make theme park ticket reservations for them, as well as make Lightning Lane selections for your entire party who are linked to your account.

If you have a dining reservation, you will need to modify your reservation or cancel and make a new one to add someone. Also note that only the person who makes the dining reservation will be able to see and manage the reservation. You cannot link other Guests to your reservation. You will need to contact Guest Services to add someone to your hotel reservation.

Jon, I hope that I covered all the bases and was able to help you with your question. If you still have questions, you know where to find us. I hope you have a wonderful visit during Halloween Time!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
