Hey there Antonia,
Welcome to planDisney and a huge thank you to your son for his service!
It sounds like you all might be taking advantage of the
2026 Military Members Promotional Tickets. If that is the case, there are some
important details as to how these tickets are to be used that depend on the number of days that were purchased that I would recommend you review. For example, the 3-day and 4-day promotional tickets require valid military identification for both purchase and use to enter the parks, but the 1-day tickets require valid military identification only for the purchase.
Unfortunately, it's tough for me to give you an exact answer as I'm not able to see the specific details of your situation. However, you can definitely
reach out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line to get detailed answers for the tickets you all have.
In general, names are not officially attached to Disneyland Resort park tickets until they are scanned for entry into a park for the first time. At the time of that first scan, a Cast Member at the entry gate will take a photo of the person using that ticket to ensure that same person uses that ticket for its duration.
I hope that helps, Antonia, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth later this month!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
