how do you add the Gratuities and are there options on how to add these?

    Hi Jeffrey!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is a great question!  Dining gratuities are generally not included, whether or not you are using your Disney Dining Plan.  The exceptions to this are if you are using your dining plan for Private In-Room Dining or Pizza Delivery, or if your dining party at a restaurant is for six or more people where a gratuity of 18% will be automatically applied.  When dining at a Table-Service restaurant you will be given your receipt, and on that will be a suggested gratuity of both 18% and 20%, but it is completely your choice as to how much you want to add as a tip for the server who has been looking after you for that dining experience. You can also choose how you wish to pay for that, by cash, credit card, or make a room charge using your MagicBand.  Disney Gift Cards can also be used to pay the balance on any dining receipt.

For non-dining gratuities - for example, Bell Services when they deliver your luggage to your room - this would usually be given in cash to the Cast Member who has been assisting you, but is always entirely at your discretion.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
