    Add gift card to magic band

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question today. My fellow panelists and I love helping Guests prepare for their upcoming adventures to Walt Disney World Resort. Let's dive into your question!

    I like to think of myself as the resident Disney Gift Card pro! This is my favorite way to manage my budget at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Using gift cards lets me plan for each category of my trip and stick to the amount I want to spend. I keep separate gift cards for food, merchandise, and even my Disney Resort hotel.

    While you can't link a Disney Gift Card to your MagicBand+ at this time, you can add it to your mobile wallet, making it a convenient option for purchases throughout the parks. I love all the fun options you can get with MagicBands, which is why I have five. Don't forget you can use them to enter the parks, scan into your Lightning Lanes, and they sync to the fireworks. It really makes you feel like you're a part of the show.
