how do i add Genie plus to my existing tickets

    Hello Linda,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Looks like you might be planning a magical vacation for February Break. Disney Genie+ will help you maximize your time spent in the park. If you didn't initially purchase tickets that included Genie+, don't worry, you can add the option easily to your existing park tickets for each day of your vacation.

    • First, make sure you have the most recent version of the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device, and log into your account on the app.
    •  In the bottom right corner of your screen, you'll see three stacked lines (a hamburger menu). Click on that.
    • You should see several boxes, choose the one in the top right with the Genie lamp called, "My Genie Day."
    • The date is at the top. If you want Genie+ for a different day, click "Change Day"and select the day you want to upgrade to Genie+.
    • Click on the purple section that says, "Get Disney Genie+ Service."
    • Now you'll see a screen that tells you all about Genie+ and Lightning Lanes. At the bottom click, "Get Disney Genie+ Service."
    • Choose all of the members of your party who will be using Genie+.
    • Review the details.
    • Confirm your information and pay.
You'll be able to book your first Lightning Lane reservation at 7:00 a.m. on the day of your visit if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, or at park opening if you are staying off property. The great thing about Genie+ is that it's customizable. You can add it to all of your days, or you can select it for certain days of your vacation.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
