It's no fun having to go back and forth, and I'm sorry you have to go through that. I know you're trying to maximize your Walt Disney World Resort vacation by adding the Disney Genie+ service to your Vacation Package, and I want to make sure I get you the correct answer. That way, you'll be able to focus on having a magical time on your vacation!

I went ahead and double-checked by calling two different Cast Members to verify and was told that usually, a Guest would be able to add the Disney Genie+ service through their My Disney Experience Mobile app. However, because your trip has been booked through a Travel Agent, your travel agent needs to modify the package. They would be able to modify your package online, but you can also have your Travel Agent call a Disney Travel Operations Specialist at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639), and they'll be happy to help your Travel Agent add the Disney Genie+ service to your package.
