How do I add Genie+ to my existing tickets? The instructions that I found do not work: https://plandisney.disney.go.com/question/add-genie-tickets-already-472971/

    Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you have a Walt Disney World vacation on the horizon! I hope you are getting excited about your visit! You have come to the perfect place to get answers to all things Disney Genie+! With the introduction of this new service to the parks last year, there are still many Guests that have yet to experience it. Just this week, Disney has made some changes to the process of purchasing this service for your trip.

Previously, Guests were able to add Disney Genie+ to their existing tickets for the entire length of their stay. Starting on June 8th, this is no longer the case. Guests that want to purchase this service must do so each day they wish to use it. Starting at midnight on the day of your visit, you will need to log on to your My Disney Experience App and purchase Genie+ for the day. It's a very simple process and only takes a matter of moments to complete.

Jessica, there is still a window of time until June 8th to purchase Genie+ prior to your arrival date. Instead of using the app, I suggest logging on to your My Disney Experience account using a web browser. Once there, scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" and click on "Tickets & Memory Maker". You should see an option for "Change Ticket" listed under each ticket you purchased. Select this option and follow the prompts to add Disney Genie+. As a reminder, Genie+ can only be added to multi-day tickets. If you have single-day tickets, you have to wait until the day of to purchase the service anyway. If you are still having trouble, you can always call the Existing Ticket line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. If they can add on the service, they will be able to do so then.

If this is your first time using Genie+, here is a quick guide on how to use it. Log on to your My Disney Experience App starting at 7 AM the day of your park visit and tap on the three horizontal bars on the bottom right of your screen. Select "Tip Board" followed by the park you want to make your first selection for. Scroll down until you find the attraction you want to choose and the next available arrival window will be shown. Tap on this ride to confirm your selection. If your selection is within two hours of the official park opening time, then you can make a second selection after riding the first ride. If your first selection is later in the day, you'll be able to make a second Genie+ selection two hours after the official park opening.

Jessica, I'm sure you are going to navigate the parks with ease. Disney Genie+ is a great friend to have at the parks since it allows you to fit more into your park day!

Have a magical vacation! See ya real soon!
