Can I add Genie+ to a complimentary eticket?

Hey there, Glory, and welcome to planDisney! Disney’s Genie+ Service is the perfect way to take your Walt Disney World vacation to new heights! It’s almost like boarding a magic carpet for a quick flight. I’m not sure where this big, blue Genie guy came from, but he sure knows how to kick things up a notch!

Glory, unfortunately, complimentary Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets can not be upgraded. However, you can still add the Disney Genie+ Service to your vacation once you arrive inside the Walt Disney World “bubble”. Genie+ can be purchased and added to your package starting at 12:01 a.m. on the morning of your Theme Park day. This is great since you’ll probably already be up bursting with excitement!

If you are staying in a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel as part of your vacation, you can make your first Disney Genie+ reservation and Individual Lightning Lane purchase in the My Disney Experience Mobile App at 7 a.m the morning of your Theme Park day. If you are not staying on-site, you can still make your first Genie+ reservation at 7 a.m., but will have to wait until the Theme Park officially opens to make your Individual Lightning Lane purchases.

Glory, be sure to make your Theme Park Reservations if you haven’t already! Availability is limited across the next few weeks, and I want to make sure that you don’t miss out on any of the fun. In addition to your Theme Park Ticket, you will need a valid theme park reservation for entry into any of the Theme Parks.

I hope this helps, Glory! Your Walt Disney World vacation awaits!

    Until Next Time,
