The magic of a Walt Disney World Resort is calling, and I hope you're planning to answer the call during the
50th Anniversary Celebration. This 18-month celebration is in full swing, and Mickey's just bursting his EARidescent buttons with pride as he greets Guests at
Town Square Theater.
Many Guests can add
Disney Genie+ service to valid park tickets online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app in advance. Be aware that you must purchase Genie+ service for the duration of your ticket in advance. Alternately, for the same price per day per person, you can choose to purchase Genie+ in the My Disney Experience mobile each park day beginning midnight.
To add Genie+ to your existing tickets online:
1. Log into your
My Disney Experience account.
2. Make sure your tickets are
linked to your account and that you're connected to your planning party as
Family and Friends.
3. Hover over the "My Disney Experience" menu and select "My Plans."
4. Scroll down and click the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab.
5. Select "Change Ticket" next to the ticket you want to modify.
6. If applicable, select every ticket in your party you wish to modify.
7. Add Genie+ to your tickets.
To add Genie+ in the
My Disney Experience mobile app:
1. Click the three, small lines at the bottom right of the home screen.
2. Click "Tickets and Passes."
3. Scroll to the ticket you would like to modify and select "Change Ticket."
4. Follow the prompts to add Genie+ to your tickets.
If you don't see the option to change your ticket, Jenna, remember you can always purchase Genie+ at the start of each park day in the My Disney Experience app (three lines --> "My Genie Day" --> scroll down --> "Get Disney Genie+ for Today"). Whether you purchase Genie+ in advance or as a same-day purchase, you won't be able to book your first
Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction until 7:00 a.m. on each park day.
