Disney Genie+ Service as an add-on option to your Disneyland Resort tickets. It really is a stellar way to maximize your time in the theme parks! In fact, I am planning a visit with my extended family later this month and we are discussing our Genie+ strategies and our plans to link our tickets so our party can select and use
Lightning Lane Entrances together.
I'm happy to share that yes, you may add Disney Genie+ Service after you have purchased your tickets. However, you will need to scan your ticket at the entrance to one of the Disneyland Resort theme parks before it will become eligible to add Genie+. You can do this easily in the
official Disneyland mobile app right on the home screen. My top tip here is to go ahead and assure that your payment method is updated in the app under "My Profile," so that you are ready to go with your Genie+ purchase as soon as you enter the parks. I have personally experienced a delay in being able to use Genie+ because I needed to update my credit card information in the app, and I wished I had done this prior to my visit!
