With the new
Disney Genie Service, Genie is actually granting you three wishes! The first is a complimentary, personalized planning tool all included within the Disneyland Mobile App. Here, you tell the Genie your favorite things to do, what you cannot miss, and even your general interests like princesses or Jedis and ... POOF! He will create an itinerary just for YOU. It will be delivered into your account around 7 a.m. the morning of your arrival. You can choose to follow any of the suggestions and the Genie will make live updates throughout your day. It's a whole new world of Disney day planning!
The second wish is an upgrade to Genie+! If you already have purchased tickets, this is available for purchase by opening the app once you have scanned into the Main Gate at the parks. With Genie+, you will have access to time-saving
Lightning Lanes on select attractions throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park from classics like
Space Mountain and
Haunted Mansion to the
Incredicoaster and
Soarin' Over California (back for a limited time as part of the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!). You will be able to make one Lightning Lane selection at a time, with the next one available to you either two hours from the time you made your first choice or when you tap into that first attraction, whichever comes first! Also included in Genie +? Access to unlimited digital downloads of all the
Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day! Genie's wish is your command!
The third and final wish that Genie is granting as part of the Disney Genie Service is
Individual Lightning Lanes. These are available for the most popular attractions, currently
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance,
Radiator Springs Racers, and
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Access to these Lightning Lanes can be purchased a la carte whether or not you have upgraded to Genie+! If escaping from the First Order is on your list of must-dos, I would make it a priority when you enter the parks to get an Individual Lightning Lane for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! This is still a very popular one and can go quickly!
