Hello, how do I add my friends to my vacation planning at Disneyland?

Hi there, Maureen! I'm so happy to welcome you to planDisney and thank you for trusting us to help get you some answers to your vacation planning questions.

Your visit to Disneyland Resort is coming up in just about a month! I love it when that countdown drops below 30 days. It sounds like you are traveling with a group of friends and loved ones, which is so exciting because there's nothing better than the magic of Disneyland Resort, multiplied! I'll be happy to share a few suggestions on how to share your visit plans with your entire cast of characters so you're all prepared to enjoy your time together.

For tickets and theme park reservations, I recommend that everyone in your party aim to link your tickets together in your Disney account. I'll also share some guidance on how to use the Disneyland mobile app to link tickets. Linking your tickets will enable your group to join virtual queues or select Lighting Lane Entrances together if you happen to be using Disney Genie+ Service on the day of your visit.

If you have multiple Disneyland Resort hotel reservations and wish to link them together as a group, you can do this on the Link Resort Reservation page. You'll want to make sure that you have the confirmation number, check-in date, and the name of the Primary Guest ready to complete this process for each reservation. Then, this information will be displayed in your "My Plans" section of the official Disneyland website or the Hotel Reservations section of the Disneyland mobile app.

Finally, if you're opting to make table service dining reservations or Enchanting Extras reservations during your visit, only one Guest will be able to view and manage these reservations on behalf of the group. There isn't currently a mechanism to share this with other members of your travel party through the mobile app. But, I have found that simply copying the reservation confirmation number or taking a screenshot of the reservation details and sharing it with my group works just fine for us!

I hope this is helpful, Maureen, and I genuinely hope that you and all your friends or family members have the best time at Disneyland Resort! There's no greater gift than sharing in the magic of 'The Happiest Place on Earth' with your loved ones. If we can help with anything else in the meantime, please come back and see us again, here at planDisney.

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
