how do I add my friends and family to an upcoming trip

    Hello Keith!

Welcome back again to planDisney! What perfect timing! I was just adding some friends to my Family & Friends List as I had a special trip planned in the upcoming months. It was very straightforward and I am glad to be able to help you through the process.

Head to your "My Family & Friends List" and log in to your MyDisney account. Look for the "+ Add a Guest" option on the top right or bottom left. (Don't you love options?) You can then find your family by name, phone number, or email. You can also search by their Walt Disney World Resort reservation information. Once you find them and "Send Invite" to your friend or family member will have to log in to their account and accept the request to link up. They may get an email from "Disney Destinations" letting them know that you are trying to connect with them or they will see it right on their Family & Friends List. If you have family members that do not have an account whether it be because they don't want one or they are too young then you can create a "Managed Profile" for them. This is a profile that is just a placeholder that works just like a regular account but is managed by you. You can link tickets, and reservations and even include them in Lightning Lanes or Virtual Queue bookings just as you would a regular profile.

Having your list set up is especially important this year as Tiana's Bayou Adventure will be opening on June 28, 2024! There will not be a standby line for this attraction. You either join the Virtual Queue Queue at 7 am or 1 pm or book a return time for the Lightning Lane using Disney Genie+. Having everyone in your party linked with tickets will make it easier and quicker when trying to get an opportunity to visit the Bayou!

I hope this helps and you have a magical time together!

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
