Hello there, welcome to planDisney Jonah. Making sure your accounts are linked is important to get straightened out before arriving. Let’s get your accounts ready to plan.
The
My Disney Experience App is one of my favorite go-to tools for planning. I use it before, during, and after my visit. And I will help you figure out how to use it as well. Saving your ideas for your visit used to be done using a pen and paper. Today there is the
Disney Genie Service. This free-to-use service allows you to build a list of favorite attractions, experiences, dining, and enchanting extras. While you go along checking off your favorites Genie takes care of the rest. On the day of your visit open Genie and use the “My Day” tab at the top of the page. After you select your favorites Genie will prioritize your picks and suggest when to ride or eat. It will have all your selections in one place where you can see what the wait time is and the forecasted wait times for later in the day.
My favorite is the add-on is
Disney’s Genie+ Service. This is a paid service available for purchase each day of your visit. You will be able to make
Lighting Lane reservations for attractions and skip the waiting in line. You will have a return time and a much shorter wait if any at all. If you decide to purchase this most guests can use 2-3 lightning lanes per day.
Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite example of how to use it and make the most of your park day. There are more popular attractions than some others and while you wait for your return window you can enjoy attractions with shorter wait times or grab a snack. For example, if you are waiting for the
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, very near there are attractions with shorter waits like
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
I hope this information is helpful for saving your list of favorites. If you have any other questions visit us again anytime at planDisney.com.
Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
