Sydney, Walt Disney World has retired the FastPass+ system and now uses
Disney’s Genie+ Service to allow Guests the opportunity to book attraction return windows throughout their Theme Park day. Disney’s Genie+ is an add-on service that may be purchased each morning of your Theme Park days. Additionally, all Guests who purchase the service can reserve their first Genie+ attraction lightning lane entrance at 7 a.m. EST on the morning of their Theme Park day.

Choosing to stay in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of your vacation comes with many perks. But one of the most convenient perks is charging resort purchases to your hotel folio with your
MagicBand. To my knowledge, there is no limit to how much you can charge to your Resort hotel folio with your MagicBand. But it’s helpful to know that not all retailers in the Theme Parks and across the resort accept MagicBands as payment. So it is helpful to keep a payment card or cash on hand to make purchases in the event the system is down or the retailer doesn’t accept MagicBands. But for the most part, you’re free to get your shopping spree on!
Sydney, I reviewed the current
Disney+ Subscribers Special Offer and found that the offer is a room-only offer, so the savings only apply to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay cost. It looks like the current Theme Park Ticket Special Offers are only available to Florida Residents and United States Military Members. Additionally, the Disney+ Subscribers offer is only available for stays through September 30, 2022. Walt Disney World Resort has not yet released a Special Offer for fall arrival dates, but I suggest keeping an eye on the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. If/When a new offer is released, it will show up here first! But if you book a Disney Vacation Package now and a Special Offer that applies to your arrival date is released, you can always call and speak with a Cast Member to determine if the offer can be applied to your vacation! So you could still save some coins along the way!
