Hiya Michael, and welcome to planDisney! I'd be happy to help you get your Family & Friends List squared away and add a family member to your previously completed hotel booking.
To connect with someone via the
Family & Friends List, navigate to the list in your My Disney account profile, select "Add a Guest," and use the search tool provided to find the guest or browse for people you may know. If you cannot find the guest or need to create a profile for them that you will manage, click the "Create New Guest" button on the "Add a Guest"page. Once the guest accepts the invitation to connect, you will be able to make and share plans together throughout your vacation.
If you would like to add this guest to your existing booking, you may be able to modify your reservation online. Navigate to your hotel reservation by hovering over your character profile image on the Disney World homepage and clicking "View My Plans & Tickets" from the drop-down menu. Scroll below the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" heading on the next page and you should see your hotel reservation. You may be able to click to change or modify your reservation on this page. If you don't see your hotel reservation or can't modify it online, reach out to a friendly Cast Member on the
Hotel Reservations line and they will be happy to assist you. Remember, adding a guest to your room is subject to capacity limits of the room type you've booked, and there may be an additional charge for the change in occupancy.
