How do I add family to my app.? I usually to go wdw and it is easy on that app. I can't seem to find it in the Disneyland app. Thank you

    Hi there, Felicia.

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit us with your question. The Disneyland mobile app is a handy-dandy Mouseketool! You can use it to check attraction wait times, view restaurant menus, and use it as a form of contactless payment when you make food and beverage mobile orders. Also, if you’re interested, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in Disney California Adventure Park utilize virtual queues that are only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app.

As you probably figured out by now, Felicia, the Disneyland mobile app is not quite the same as My Disney Experience app at Walt Disney World Resort. I love the Family & Friends List to be able to link travel plans with the entire group. Unfortunately, that feature is not currently available in Disneyland mobile app. My best advice to link your tickets together is to add each ticket individually.

On the lower right hand side, press the icon with three small horizontal lines. Click on “Tickets and Passes”, then click “Link Tickets & Passes”. Once linked, you can then create your travel party to obtain boarding groups together in virtual queues.

If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
