Hi there, Felicia.
Welcome to planDisney. Thanks so much for taking the time to visit us with your question. The
Disneyland mobile app is a handy-dandy Mouseketool! You can use it to check attraction wait times, view restaurant menus, and use it as a form of contactless payment when you make food and beverage mobile orders. Also, if you’re interested, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park and WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in Disney California Adventure Park utilize virtual queues that are only accessible via the Disneyland mobile app.
As you probably figured out by now, Felicia, the Disneyland mobile app is not quite the same as My Disney Experience app at
Walt Disney World Resort. I love the Family & Friends List to be able to link travel plans with the entire group. Unfortunately, that feature is not currently available in Disneyland mobile app. My best advice to link your tickets together is to add each ticket individually.
On the lower right hand side, press the icon with three small horizontal lines. Click on “Tickets and Passes”, then click “Link Tickets & Passes”. Once linked, you can then create your travel party to obtain boarding groups together in virtual queues.
If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
