Hi Tina! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
If you're familiar with the My Disney Experience app at the Walt Disney World Resort, you'll know about the Family & Friends List, which allows you to share your plans and tickets. The Disneyland Resort operates a little differently, and the
Disneyland mobile app does too. There's no way to add family in that same way to the Disneyland mobile app.
However, since you're visiting the parks together, the easiest way to navigate during the day is to have all the tickets linked to one account. This will allow you to book Lightning Lane Entrance return times with the purchase of
Lightning Lane Passes with total ease, saving time for you to explore more of the magic of the parks! It sounds like you might already have those tickets linked. If not, tap on the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the homepage of the app. Tap the "+" in the upper right-hand side of the next screen to link a ticket. Repeat for each additional ticket. It's that easy!
If you're worried about tickets not being in everyone's name, you can call the
Tickets phone line to speak with a Cast Member. They're always happy to help! While the name on an unused standard ticket that doesn't require a government-issued photo ID shouldn't matter, they can assist you in getting those names changed to reflect the correct ticket holder.
If you're Star Wars fans, be sure to check out the Star Wars overlay on the iconic Space Mountain in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park during your visit.
Hyperspace Mountain is transforming this well-loved Attraction for a short time. We're making a special trip just to experience our favorite out-of-this-world overlay!
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
