    How do I add family

Hey Howdy Hey Josephine and welcome to planDisney!

One of the best parts about a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is enjoying the experience with the whole family. I love trips to Walt Disney World with family because it is so easy to share plans and see what everyone is doing. You can feel free to plan everything together and even plan a few experiences as smaller groups as well. Thank you for stopping by with your question about adding family. I will be happy to give you more information on how to do so.

If you are visiting Walt Disney World with family with separate reservations, you can easily share plans from your My Disney Experience account. Once you log on, go to "My Family & Friends" and you can see all the members of your family and friends you are currently sharing plans with. If you need to add someone to the list, look for the button on the top right that states "Add a Guest". Once you click on that, you will be given options to search for the members you are looking for. They will then be sent a communication to verify the connection and after they do, you should all be able to see each other's plans.

Now, if you already have a reservation booked and want to add a family member to your reservation, this will be a different process. If you have made your final payment and are less than 30 days from your date of arrival, the easiest way to add a family member would be to call Disney and speak to a Cast Member about adding another member to your party. If you are beyond 30 days from your date of arrival, you should be able to add a member through your My Disney Experience account. You will find your reservation and click on the "Modify Reservation" link. Follow the prompts to add another person to your reservation and as long as you are within the room capacity, you should be able to add a family member to your current reservation.

Either way, it should be easy to add a family member to your reservation or share your plans with them. I hope this information helped get this process done so you can get back to the excitement of planning your trip! Please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,
