Hey there, Anny. I'm so glad you've dropped by planDisney with your question. I see that you have a trip coming up to the most magical place on earth. I bet you are getting so excited!
Anny, there have been plenty of times that I've wanted to stay in the magic just a little bit longer and have had no issues adding on another day to my existing reservations. Depending on the type of reservation you have, you might actually be able to modify it yourself online. You'll need to log in to your
MyDisneyExperience account and go to "My Reservations". If your reservation is able to be modified online you'll see a link for "Modify Reservation". Once there, you'll be able to add one and pay for an additional day. If your reservation cannot be modified online, you will need to call (407) 934-7639 and speak with a Cast Member about your request. When you call, please keep in mind that wait times have been higher than normal lately so you'll want to give yourself plenty of time to hold when you call. I like to call first thing in the morning, when the phone lines open, to get into the waiting queue early. I've found by doing that, the wait time can be very minimal.
Anny, the end of July and into August is such a fun time to be at Walt Disney World so also very hot. Please remember to stay hydrated while you are at the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. I don't know if you know this or not but you can actually get a cup of free ice water at any
quick-service dining locations throughout Walt Disney World. This is such a great money-saving tip! Any time you feel you need some water, stop at the closest quick-service area and the Cast Member working will be more than happy to give you a cup. My favorite spot to grab free ice water is at the Starbucks locations at Walt Disney World. If you ask nicely, they will give you the largest size they have. All other quick-service dining locations will provide you with a small cup but hey, free is free!
I also hope that you schedule some time in your itinerary to enjoy your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel's pool. Nothing beats the heat like splish' splashing around in the pool and the ones at Walt Disney World are the best! With any park ticket, you are able to leave the theme park and revisit multiple times a day. So you could visit Magic Kingdom Park in the morning when it's cooler out, head to the pool around lunchtime and then head back to Magic Kingdom again after the sun goes down.
I hope you are able to get your reservations all squared away. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. Have fun!
