Welcome to
planDisney, Paige!
Disney Gift Cards are one of my favorite Disney trip-planning tools. There are many ways to use Disney Gift Cards, including but not limited to purchasing
Theme Park Tickets, booking hotel stays, and budgeting for souvenirs and meals.
Although Disney e-Gift Cards cannot be saved to your
Disneyland App, there are a few alternatives that you can use instead. When you purchase a
Disney e-Gift Card, you should have received an e-mail confirmation with the card information. The e-mail should include the account number and EAN number. The 16-digit account number will be necessary to make purchases through the Disneyland App, such as
Mobile Order or
Merchandise Mobile Checkout.
To access your account number quickly, I suggest copying and pasting it into a notes file on your phone. You also have the option of adding your Disney e-Gift Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet via the confirmation e-mail. Cast Members can scan this barcode when you are making purchases. Lastly, you can print the confirmation e-mail and take that with you to make payments. Be sure you can see your Disney e-Gift Card's barcode in the printout.
Tip: Add your Disney e-Gift Card to the
Disney Gift Card website to check your card's balance, transfer funds between cards, and more.
Paige, I hope you find this helpful. We can't wait to have you at the parks
real soon!
Your Pal,
Alejandra
