hi how do I add a Disney vacation countdown to my booking?

Hi, Samantha!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I see that we share the same first name.  It really is a small world after all!  It seems that another thing we have in common is that we both like to count down those days until our next magical vacation.  In the past, there was a countdown feature in My Disney Experience, but that is no longer available.  However, if you search "Disney vacation countdown" in the app store, you can find a handy vacation countdown app for your phone.

In my household, we like to have a little celebration when we reach 30 days until our next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I usually make some type of Mickey-shaped treat for my kiddos to eat and surprise them with a little gift from www.shopdisney.com like t-shirts, autograph books, or gift cards to use for vacation souvenirs. It's a fun tradition that lets the magic begin before we have even left home.

While you are counting down the days until your vacation, if you think of any other planning questions, please visit us again.  Have a magical day!
