Hiya, Kurt, and welcome to planDisney!
You're just a few sleeps away from the magic, Kurt. Isn't it such an exciting time?!?
Your question has actually arrived at the
practically perfect time, because I'm embarking on my own magical adventure at
Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa later this week, and I'll be using a
Disney eGift Card to cover many of the expenses during my trip. I just added my eGift Card to my Apple Wallet, and you'll be happy to hear that the process was super simple. Just open the email that contains your gift card and scroll to the bottom. There, just below the barcode, you'll see a black button that says 'Add to Apple Wallet'. Select that button and then 'Add' in the top right corner of the next screen that populates. Once you've followed those steps, the card should appear in your Apple Wallet — just like magic!
If you have more than one Disney Gift Card, I highly suggest combining the balances onto a single card. You can conveniently do this on the
Disney Gift Card website under 'My Cards'. You'll just need to add each gift card to your account, designate one as the primary card, and then transfer the other card balances to it (up to $1,000). It's also worth noting that
Disney Gift Cards can be used as payment at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Vacation Club properties, and aboard Disney Cruise Line, but not at Disneyland Paris.
I hope this helps, Kurt, and that you have a wonderful vacation. If you have any additional questions about how to use your Disney Gift Card, don't hesitate to channel your inner Tarzan and swing back by
planDisney. You've got a friend in me!
Thinking Happy Thought,
Lizzie
