    Can I add Disney gift cards to load onto Disney app to use to prepay food, or have to link personal credit/debit card? When and when can I buy Genie plus, I already purchased tickets and made reservations?

    Thank you so much for sending us your question today, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Oh my goodness, Erik, your magical vacation is coming so very soon! How excited are you? I know I would be thrilled! You have picked an especially magical time to visit with the World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing and the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival kicking off its 2022 season. 

    First, let's talk about your gift cards! To answer your question: yes, you can use your Disney Gift Card to pay for your mobile food orders. However, you will need to enter the gift card's information upon checkout instead of linking it as a payment method directly in your account. To do so, click on "Order Food" in the plus sign menu of the My Disney Experience mobile app and select the restaurant and time window of your choosing. Once you have added all the items you would like to order, click on "Review Order Summary." Under "Payment Methods," you will be able to click on "Add a Card" and add your gift card's information. To make this step more manageable, I suggest typing your gift card's number in your notes app so that all you have to do is copy and paste that information into your My Disney Experience mobile app. And voilà, you are all set to enjoy your delicious meal! 

    Second, I am so excited that you will be using the new Disney Genie+ service on your upcoming visit! This service truly opens up a whole new world of possibilities for you, so let's talk about how you can add some punch and pizazz to your vacation. You will be able to purchase Disney Genie+ on the day of your visit on the My Disney Experience mobile app as well. Simply click on the three lines at the bottom right of your screen and then on "My Genie Day." Then, in the "My Day" section, you will be able to click on "Get Disney Genie+ for Today" in the purple banner. As a reminder, Disney Genie+ is a one-time purchase of $15 plus taxes per person per day, and you will be able to make selections in the "Tip Board" section. Now, Erik, don't forget to do as Aladdin and use your three wishes! You can find the Disney Genie service under the "My Day" tab by clicking on "Get Started Now" and make your Individual Lightning Lane selections in the "Tip Board" section. These three services are not mutually exclusive, so you can use them together to get the most out of your vacation!
