50th Anniversary Celebration is still going strong and you will be able to enjoy all the new experiences created for the festivities.
Disney Enchantment is the new nighttime spectacular created for the celebration. It is shown most nights in the Magic Kingdom and combines breathtaking fireworks, castle, and Main Street U.S.A. projections set to an arrangement of your favorite Disney songs.
A change was made to
Disney Genie+ Service on June 8th, which will allow Guests to only add the service on the day they plan to use it. Guests still need a valid theme park ticket and park pass reservation linked to their
My Disney Experience account. You can add Genie+ to your tickets as early as midnight of the morning you are planning to use it for yourself and each member of your party. If you are not a night owl, you can also add Genie+ to your tickets in the morning before you begin to select your Lightning Lane experiences at 7:00 AM.
To purchase Genie+ open the My Disney Experience mobile app and scroll down until you see the purple banner that says
Disney Genie+ Service. Tap on
Purchase for Today and select the members of your party who will be using Genie+ for the day.
Confirm your party, review the details of your purchase and then finalize your transaction. Once you have completed your purchase, you can make your first selection at 7:00 AM. You will be able to make your next selection 120 minutes (2 hours) after the official park opening. Continue making selections every 120 minutes after your last selection or when you have scanned in to redeem your experience. There is no limit on the number of experiences that you can select. The mobile app will tell you when you can make your next selection. You can continue to book experiences all day until the park closes.
