Hey, Angela! Welcome to planDisney.
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.
If you'd like to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS), here's what you need to do:
Visit the Planning with
Disability Access Service (DAS) page of the Disneyland Resort website. If you log in to your Disneyland account and click on the "Request Live Chat" button, you can initiate the DAS Advance process. The live chat feature is available between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM (PT).
If you are registering on behalf of someone else, you'll want to have them physically present with you for the live chat. You'll also want your device to have a video camera. Depending on call volumes, you may enter a waiting room. You'll be able to speak to a Cast Member and explain your situation and they'll decide if you qualify for DAS. If you don't get a chance to go through this process before you arrive, you can even register for DAS when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort. Simply visit Guest Relations at any theme park and mention that you'd like to apply for DAS.
DAS is valid for the length of your ticket or up to 60 days, whichever is shorter. Once DAS has elapsed, you'll need to re-register for the program next time you visit.
Once your registration is complete, you'll be able to use it to make attraction return time selections using the
Disneyland Mobile App. On the day of your visit, tap on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the app. You'll see the DAS feature magically displayed. This feature will show a list of available attractions. If you tap on an attraction, you'll discover relevant information about that attraction, plus the next available DAS return time. If you tap that time, you'll then confirm the members of your party that will be joining you for the attraction. Just note that you may only book one attraction at a time. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: DAS is absolutely free!
I hope that's helpful, Angela. Thanks for letting me help plan your great, big, beautiful tomorrow.
Mike
