Hi there, Magda, and welcome to planDisney!
Your trip to Walt Disney World is just around the corner, and I'm sure you're excited to trade that cold winter weather for some pixie dust and Florida sunshine!
Eating in Disney World is one of my all-time favorite pastimes, so I'm thrilled to answer your question about the
Disney Dining Plan. Let's
dig in!
Magda, there's really no bad time to purchase the Disney Dining Plan. But if you're traveling with kids, there might be no better time than right now! My husband and I recently took advantage of the current
Free Dining Plan for Kids in 2026 offer, and I'm so excited for the peace of mind it will bring to our upcoming visit.
If you haven't already booked your Disney World vacation package, you can add the Disney Dining Plan during the booking process. After choosing your room type, proceed to the next screen to customize your ticket options. When you continue to the
next screen, you'll have the option to add the Disney Dining Plan or the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to your package.
However, I see that we're only a few weeks away from your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, so there's a pretty good chance that you've already booked your stay. If this is the case, you're not out of luck! I chatted with a friendly Disney Cast Member, who confirmed that you can add a Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package
up to one day before check-in. To do so, call the
Tickets & Hotel Reservations line to speak to a Cast Member who can make the magic happen!
Magda, I noticed that you'll be arriving just in time to catch the tail end of the 2026
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! Be sure to stop by before the festival ends on February 23rd to check out all the amazing artistry and live entertainment, and of course, that incredible festival food! Many festival dishes count as snacks on the Disney Dining Plan, so stay on the lookout for that purple-and-white Disney Dining Plan icon!
I hope this information is helpful, Magda, and that your upcoming stay is full of Disney magic and great food! If you have any other planning questions, you know

See ya real soon,
Allison
