How to add dining plan to wallet

    Howdy Kristen!

Welcome to planDisney. One of my family’s favorite things to do while vacationing at Walt Disney World is dining at one of the many fabulous restaurants. Having the dining plan is a great idea because it gives you a lot of flexibility once you have chosen where you would like to dine.

Alrighty, now that you have the Disney Dining Plan, you would like to know how to use it and keep track of your credits. To use your dining credits, simply present your valid Disney Resort ID (MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World card) to your server or cashier at participating restaurants. You can redeem your meals and snacks in any order during your stay, until the number of meals and snacks included with your package is depleted. All unused meals and snacks, and the ability to use your Resort-refillable mug, expire at midnight on the checkout date of your package reservation. Your dining plan usage is electronically linked to your reservation. Keep track of your remaining meals and snacks in 3 ways:

    1. View your remaining meals and snacks in the My Disney Experience app.
    2. Check your dining receipts. Remaining meals and snacks are printed on them.
    3. Ask your Resort Concierge or Guest Relations to obtain them at any time.

As a reminder, unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the day of checkout.

Guests with a valid Disney Resort Hotel Reservation can make reservations for the entire length of stay (for up to a 10-night stay) up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. Advanced dining reservations can be made through the Walt Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app starting around 6:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. I would suggest waking up a little early, as I have seen some restaurants become available as early as 5:45 AM.

Kristen, I hope this helps you enjoy a magical dining experience during your vacation at Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions, please stop by, and we’ll be happy to help you.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
