Can I add a dining plan on to our room only purchase if we already have tickets to the parks? The tickets were purchased separately, when we though we were going to stay off property.

    Hi Eric,

Glad to know you are busy planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort for next October. The fall is a beautiful time of the year to visit, with two must-see events. Mickey wants to be spooky but have fun with his friends in Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. And you can enjoy the flavors and music of the whole world, in Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.

To add a Disney Dining Plan to a room-only reservation you would need to convert it to a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. In general, these already include Theme Park Tickets. However, if you speak to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or a travel agent, they can try to convert your reservation to a ticketless Magic Your Way Vacation Package with Dining. You cannot do it online unfortunately, and you will not be able to take advantage of any Special Offers available.

One last tip: be sure to start planning for your favorite restaurants. You can make reservations up to 180 days in advance, and the easiest way to do them is with the My Disney Experience mobile app. Happy planning!
