Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!
You bring up a great question about using the
Disney Dining Plan. My family and I have always loved how stress- free the dining plan allows us to be, because our meals are pre-paid. Currently if you are adding the Disney Dining Plan,
it must be purchased for the entire length of your stay (which is the number of nights). So if you are staying 9 nights, your plan would be for 9 nights.
I have been in the same boat before and since we ended up with a few more days than what we originally wanted, I will share what worked well for my family. We looked at our
Disney Dining Plan entitlements as a whole to make sure to take advantage of what we purchased. For example, some days we used multiple snack credits for breakfast as lots of muffins, drinks and more make a great grab & go breakfast. Some days we used 2 Table Service Entitlements at a
Signature Dining Restaurant like
Cinderella's Royal Table or
Tiffins Restaurant. Other days we ate at three
Quick Service restaurants and spent more time touring the parks. Looking at our Disney Dining Plan as a whole and not individual days really helped us get the most value and use out of our purchase.
Amanda, I hope this helps as you are making decisions about how to eat around "the World." Best wishes for a Magical vacation. Come back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have!
