Can I add a dining plan at check in or done it need to be done ahead of time?

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I hope your Walt Disney World vacation planning is going great so far! You're probably getting excited for your trip, and for great reason. There's lots of magic awaiting you.

I think adding a Disney Dining Plan to a Walt Disney World Resort reservation adds a lot of flexibility to a vacation. You get to enjoy the amazingly delicious dining experiences at Walt Disney World with all the convenience of pre-paid meals. You can add a Dining Plan, though you'd need to add it in advance, up to 1 day before your arrival. The Dining Plan you add would require full payment at the time you add it to your reservation. There are 3 Dining Plan options from which you can choose. The Quick Service Dining Plan option offers 2 quick service meals and 2 snacks for each Guest for each night of stay. The Dining Plan option offers 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal, and 2 snacks for each Guest for each night of stay. The  Deluxe Dining Plan option offers 3 meals (either quick service or table service) and 2 snacks for each Guest for each night of stay.

Heather, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation. If you have more questions as you plan your stay, please just ask away here at Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
